I'm wondering if I should make the investment of getting some PowerLAN adapters (connecting my router, PC and TV to LAN).
I'm living in a rental apartment that has 16 floors and there are in total around 200 apartments. I do have my own electricity meter but I do not know if I'm getting any signal bleedage from other people who are also using PowerLAN technology.
What I'm looking for is some advice/experience about PowerLAN adapters. Laying down wired connection is out of question because the apartment was freshly renovated and it wouldn't justify the cost of drilling new holes and I dislike seeing cable covers.
If relevant I own a FRITZ!Box 7590 and my apartment is 48 m² big. The FRITZ!Box 7590 is located in the corridor and I need LAN coverage in my bed and living room. What is important me is speed since I'll be streaming from my PC in the bed room to the TV in the living room.
If I'm posting the question in the wrong community please link me to the correct one.
I'm looking for:
- advice/experience with PowerLAN adapters
- product recommendation for PowerLAN adapters (I own 2 Gigabit switches, so I'm fine if the PowerLAN adapters are single port)
